Last updated 3 October 2026. Slotbill is operated by Geary Works (Mike Geary), 1380 Rio Rancho Blvd SE #470, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124. This page says what is actually collected. It is short because little is collected.
Your calendar
The calendar file you drop on the site is read inside your own browser. The events, client names and times in it are not uploaded to us and are not stored on our servers. We never receive them, so we cannot lose them, hand them over or put them in a log. Close the tab and the file itself is gone.
What your own browser keeps
Two things do stay behind on your computer, because otherwise you would retype them every month: your invoice details (business name, your email, address, payment terms) and the hourly rate and name you set for each client, saved against that client’s email address. They are kept in this browser’s local storage until you remove them — not for a session, and not on our servers. On the invoice tool there is a “Forget the rates and details saved in this browser” button that deletes both immediately. Clearing your browser’s site data does the same. If you use a shared or public computer, use it when you finish.
Slotbill also sets up to three small cookies: one remembers that you have used your free export, one that this browser is unlocked, and, if you bought or pasted a licence key, one holds that key so the unlock can renew itself. They hold no calendar data and no client information.
Your email address, if you give it
If you leave your email address on the home page, we store that address and the date. We use it to send you one message when reading your Google Calendar directly is ready, and to answer you if you reply. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to any advertising audience. Ask us and we delete it, usually within a day.
Visits to this site
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. It records the page address without anything after the “?”, the address of the page that linked you here (usually just the site), and your rough country, device type, browser and operating system. We can see that a page was viewed; we cannot see who you are.
Who else touches your data
- Vercel hosts the site and stores the email addresses above.
- Polar processes payments and issues licence keys. If you buy, Polar receives your payment and billing details directly. We never see your card number.
- Google Workspace carries email you send us.
- Sentry receives an error report when something on our server breaks. It records what kind of error happened; any message that could hold personal details is thrown away before it is sent, and your calendar never reaches it.
Vercel also keeps ordinary web server logs for a short period. Those logs record the IP address a request came from, the same way every website on the internet does. We do not use them to identify anyone.
Getting your data out or deleted
Email mike@gearyworks.com and ask. We will tell you what we hold and delete it, within a day in practice and within 30 days at the outside. You do not have to explain why.
